FAQs
Do you guarantee the authenticity of your pieces?
We share all available hallmarking information in the descriptions and all pieces are checked by our certified jeweller. If required, we always consult the professional advice of a gemologist.
If you purchase a piece from us, we want it to be something you will cherish for life, our aim is to delight you with quality and service. If you’re not happy with the quality of your purchase, we will always work with you to find a solution.
We’re in this for a long time, not a good time and building a positive relationship with you means everything to us.
How do I know my ring size?
We provide ring sizes, mostly in European sizing (by alphabet) and can provide a conversion chart on request.
How do you date your pieces?
We only state the exact year of production when we can be certain using a date stamp on the item.
If no date stamp is present or if it is worn, we use other information, including the advice of our jeweller, to approximately date a piece and we state an approximate date only.
Some times pieces, over the course of their lifetime, are added to or altered, and this forms part of their charm. We don’t view it is a flaw and we try to point out in our descriptions if we think something may have been altered or added.
What if the piece I bought has defects?
All vintage, estate and antique pieces have wear and tear and we view this as part of their story and their charm.
If a piece of jewellery has defects that are visible with the naked eye we always note it in the description. If the description says eye-clear, that means there is nothing notable visible with the naked eye. If there are major flaws visible under magnification, we also note that. General wear and tear, including minor scratches, chips, dents and quirks within settings, is not considered to be a defect. All pieces that are hand made and pre-loved are not perfect. When you purchase from us you agree to this condition.
How much is shipping?
There is a flat fee charged for express post shipping within Australia, it includes signature on delivery. For overseas deliveries we use Australia Post or a courier, the cost is displayed at check out. Contact us for more information before purchasing if you have further questions.
Will my piece come packaged?
We think unboxing your purchase is part of the experience and we promise to surprise and delight you with the presentation of your purchase.
Do you offer lay-buy or AfterPay?
After Pay is coming soon. Lay-buy is available with specific terms on all pieces. Use the contact us form to enquire. Ultimately, we want to work with you, so please just ask and we can work out a plan that suits us both.
Can you source me a special piece?
We can certainly try. We spend hours and hours looking for incredible pieces, so it is no trouble to keep an eye out for something that might be your perfect forever piece of jewellery. Message us via the contact us form.
What guarantees do you offer?
